Description

The FV-300H works as a true stereo volume pedal for guitar and bass. The FV-300L is also a true stereo volume pedal, but it is designed for line output levels from a keyboard, line mixer, effects processors, or the effects loop of a guitar amp. The FV-300L can also be combined with a 1/4" stereo cable for use as an expression pedal.

Features and functionality

  • The FV-300H lacks built-in panning capability, limiting its use for signal splitting directly from the pedal.

Late 90s Boss FV-300H volume pedal. This is the H version, which is high-impedance. You can connect a guitar or bass directly to it without a buffer, if you want. Audio taper sweep. 2-in/2-out stereo operation plus a tuner output. Goes to full silent at heel-down, no noise or scratchiness in the pot.

"I used the FV-300 for 15 or 20 years, and it’s a great pedal. The FV-500L is even better than the 300 — it’s a big improvement. One of the things that I noticed was that it sounds better — the tone sounds fuller. The other thing is that the adjustment, the feel of the pedal is way more accurate."
