Description
The Bozo Bell Western 12 String Guitar is not just an instrument; it's a piece of musical artistry that echoes the legacy of its creator, Bozo Podunavac. Known for his intricate and ornate designs, Bozo crafted guitars that are both a visual and auditory delight. This model, a nod to the traditional dreadnought with a unique cutaway, offers expanded access into the upper register, making it ideal for those high-reaching solos.
Handcrafted with a AAA Engelmann Spruce top and AAA Mahogany back and sides, this 12-string guitar produces a massive sound that is rich in detail and harmonics. Each strum reveals a chimey, articulate tone that showcases the shimmering treble frequencies inherent to 12-string guitars. It's built with the precision and care that Bozo was renowned for, ensuring not only stunning aesthetics but also robust sound quality.
Whether you're a stage performer or a collector of fine instruments, the Bozo Bell Western 12 String Guitar is a testament to craftsmanship and history. With only 29 ever made in this series, owning one is like owning a piece of musical history. Its build quality and detailed design are on par with the high standards Bozo set throughout his illustrious career.

Interview to Leo Kottke by Gil Podolinsky in August 1977 for Guitar Player magazine "How many guitars do you own?
I own many, I'm really embarrassed to say. I'm one of those guys who gets really spaced out, goes down the street, and finds a piece of nothing on the wall that in my inflated condition looks like something I can rebuild at home, so I've got a lot of junk.
In addition to the two playable Gibsons, I have eight other B-45s that are my experimental victims that are basically pieces of junk. I also have four Bozos; one 12-string is about six or seven years old, and the other, a cutaway, about three."
Probably it was a Bozo with not so many pearls and shiny details
