Description
Introducing the Martin D-15M, a striking all-mahogany guitar steeped in history. Paying homage to Martin's Style 15 models from the 1940s, the D-15M presents a unique take on the traditional acoustic, favouring a rich mahogany body over the more common spruce. This choice results in a guitar that delivers deep overtones and a powerful projection, making it an ideal companion for singer-songwriters or as part of an ensemble.
This acoustic marvel doesn’t just sound great, it feels amazing too. The smooth satin finish of the D-15M ensures comfort during play, while the low oval neck carve — a feature that many consider one of the most comfortable neck carves ever made — adds to the overall playability.
When it comes to aesthetics, the D-15M is a testament to the elegance of simplicity. The minimalist single-ring rosette adds a touch of class, proving that sometimes, less is indeed more.

Best bang for your buck from Martin!
This is one of the best martins ever made and is extremely underrated! Not as pretty as some other martins, but it sounds amazing and is loud! It’s about as loud as my D-18 and almost sounds as good for half the price!

Martin D-15M
Used in a lot of shows and its really constant. Bright colorful sound and really always never lets me down! Its big bucks for the beginners but i recommend it to any strings player. Only problem is the wood gets scratched with hard material so watch out with capos in the cases or other things! Over all its really good for any one to use!

The perfect companion to the smaller 000-M15
Since I've been playing the 000-M15 for 3 years I've felt that I needed a bigger body guitar. After looking at some D18's and D28's I was reassured that the all-mahogany sound is really the sound for me and so I just got the D15 and was perfectly satisfied. Now I'm playing one or the other and always have a very good back-up.

Martin 15 M
A great acoustic, authentic Martin sound. Very deep mid and bass tones.

"Elysium is one of the first songs I wrote experimenting with different tunings. I wrote the song on my Martin D-15 and have always loved how well those guitars respond to open tunings.” - Andrew Davie via Martin's Facebook in 2015 (https://www.facebook.com/martinguitar/photos/a.439779828650.221846.92346623650/10153222335423651/?type=1&theater)
"Like many of his singer-songwriter contemporaries, Ben’s choice of acoustic guitar falls to Martin. ‘I’ve got two DM-15 models which are really great for playing in open tunings and I’ve also got a smaller bodied model, which I drew on,’ he laughs. ‘Martin are gorgeous guitars that have songs already in them. I’m sure that anyone who picks up a Martin will realise that. As soon as you pick it up you just want to play it. I take the small-bodied Martin and the two DM-15s on the road with me." - Leftwich in an Interview with Acoustic Magazine (http://www.acousticmagazine.com/interviews/benjamin-francis-leftwich/)
