Description

The G12T-75 White Label "Vented" by Celestion

The Celestion G12T-75 White Label "Vented" is one of the earliest and most sought-after versions of the legendary G12T-75 guitar speaker, produced in the early-to-mid 1980s and commonly found in vintage Marshall JCM800 cabinets. Unlike later G12T-75 models, the White Label Vented version features a vented ceramic magnet assembly and shares several construction characteristics with the earlier G12-65, resulting in a warmer, fuller midrange and smoother high frequencies. Guitarists often regard these speakers as less scooped and more musical than modern G12T-75 variants, making them highly desirable for classic rock, hard rock, and early metal tones. The speaker delivers the tight low-end response and high-power handling that made the G12T-75 famous while retaining a more vintage-inspired character. Due to their limited production period and distinctive sound, original White Label Vented models have become collectible among Marshall and Celestion enthusiasts.
