These things put out absolutely monstrous tone. Loud and tons of clean volume. Used to replace the speakers in two Peavey Bandit 112s, one modern Transtube and one teal-stripe solo. This sounds fantastic with both. Low end is big but not flubby, mids have tons of bite, and the treble still have a good amount of sparkle and brightness. Highly recommend.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Used with two Peavey Bandits in a high gain setting.

Punchy

I find it very close to the Eminence The Governor, but with a subtle richer bass and better definition on high distorted sounds. The Governor though has more kick on the mids, a little more aggressive. I really love to use the pair! I used it with Eminence The Governor in a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier to record all the guitars of the album Obliterate, from the band Gammoth.
