Great all around speaker, better than the average v30, once is broken in
Bought this speaker because of the price and the tag of a "less shrill V30", so i said, what the heck, it ticks the boxes. At first i was a bit disappointed because it had the piercing tone, a signature of Celestion speakers, but once i gave it a chance the tone improved to a more balanced, mellower but still biting tone, so tag of " a cross between the best of the Greenback and the V30" was real. I give it 4 stars only because the broke in time was longer than i expected, and tone was a bit inconsistent through different amps. I used it in a JCM 2000 DSL and tamed the gritty tone i usually don't like from this types of amps. With the Jetcity JCA50H I've found that made it sound with huge bass to the point i had to dial bass out of the eq. Of all the speakers i had i think it was my favorite, despite the little "flaws" it may had.
