Best speaker for high-gain amps, in my opinion

I have three high-gain amps that I output through a 4x12 of Celestion G12T-75 speakers. These speakers do a great job of bringing out the low-end of my Dual Rectifier, which is known for having a lot of low-end. They also respond well to high frequencies like bending pinch harmonics (Dimebag squeals) and such. I started out like most people do with V30s and when I started experimenting around with other speakers, I found that the 75s really bring out all the detail of the high-gain amps. The G12K-100 speakers are very similar to these when it comes to high-gain.

Never understood why this is the standard speaker for a Marshall 1960 cab

If you like an undefined mush with fluttering bass and at least questionable mid frequencies that did not complement a single head or guitar I tried it with then this is your speaker. The 1960 cab is a great construction so do it a favor and put a couple of other speakers in it!

not one of my favorites

A lot of 90s amrshall cabs came with these. I've owned ton. I was never a big fan, but they have a place in a rig that's got multiple 4x12s where you want a sizzly scooped sound from one cab and thena vintage cab sound from another running off the same marshall head... I keep a couple of these around.
