COVERS ALL GBNY-1 (STP/HB, FTP/HB, STP/DE, FTP/DE)
The GBNY-1 is a semi-acoustic guitar with a spruce top and maple back and sides. The spruce body center block also contributes to its light weight and a soft, supple tone reminiscent of a full acoustic guitar.
The neck features a 42mm nut width, a moderately thick, medium C-shaped neck profile, and a medium scale length. The three-piece maple/walnut/maple construction features a fingerboard made of hard ebony tonewood, providing a clear, powerful attack and easy sustain control. Enjoy everything from powerful clean tones to violin-like lead tones.
This guitar features a custom-designed humbucker with a stop tailpiece. This pickup boasts high power yet a clear, flat tone, powerfully outputting clean sounds that tend to get lost in a loud ensemble. Its lack of a distinctive peak in tone ensures that even deep, driven sounds don't lose presence. Its power also makes it resistant to feedback, providing violin-like sustain.
The fingerstyle floating tailpiece with fine tuners creates a unique character with its resonance at the end of the body top and a slightly looser tension balance.
Attention to Assembly
The assembly uses NOS capacitors and custom-made J-curve pots. Carefully selected parts are used. The GBNY-1 is available in four models with different pickups and tailpieces, each with its own specifications and wiring method. Each model is a "usable" semi-acoustic guitar.
