The Distort One Pedal a Cooperation of Dead Air and Enduring Audio
The Distort One is a collaborative distortion pedal developed by Dead Air Studios and Enduring Audio. It is inspired by the classic Boss DS-1 Distortion circuit but expands it with additional tone-shaping options and clipping variations. The pedal keeps the familiar distortion character while allowing players to sculpt mids, clipping style, and high-frequency response for a wider range of sounds. By blending silicon and LED clipping and adding more EQ control, it can move from tight, compressed distortion to thicker and more open tones. This makes it suitable for everything from classic crunchy distortion to fuller modern drive textures.
