Description

The Division Department 01/IV is a powerhouse of creativity for any musician looking to expand their sonic horizons with an analog touch. This four-channel analog drum synthesizer offers a wealth of hands-on control, perfect for crafting a vast spectrum of drum sounds, from classic kicks to intricate FM drones. Each of the four identical channels can independently synthesize a wide array of percussive sounds or be layered and modulated with each other for more complex textures.

Dive into sound design with eight knobs and six switches per channel, accessible via individual trigger buttons or seamlessly integrated into your setup through external MIDI gear. The multi-mode filters offer a selection of 12dB lowpass, 6dB bandpass, and 12dB highpass settings, providing you with precise control over your sound's character. The dual envelope system allows modulations across VCA, VCO, and VCF, ensuring your sound evolves exactly as you envision—from punchy, rapid-fire bursts to lingering five-second trails.

The LFO, defaulting to a triangle wave, can be morphed into various waveforms, including sample and hold, via MIDI CC messages, adding an extra layer of depth and rhythmic intrigue. With the repeat function, effortlessly add rolls, flams, and claps to your creations. Whether you're aiming for conventional drum sounds or venturing into uncharted sonic territories, the 01/IV provides the versatility and control you need to make your musical ideas come to life.
