Description

The Killswitch Momentary Line Selector is a new, utilitarian Electro-Harmonix pedal. In Kill Mode, the KILLSWITCH can be used to provide instant muting. It can also be used to create interesting stutter effects by turning the instrument's signal abruptly on and off for hard rhythmic in/out transitions.

In Line Selector Mode, the scope of the pedal's use is only limited by your creative vision. It can, for example, be used to quickly switch in the effects loop, introducing a burst of distortion, analog delay-induced feedback, or ring modulation. The Killswitch can also be tapped in time with what is being played to bring effects in and out of the signal path rhythmically. This is especially interesting when one of those effects is a delay with tap tempo.

The many and varied uses of the Killswitch pedal are an open invitation for the modern player who wishes to explore the world of unorthodox sound creation and manipulation.

Killer utility pedal :-P

You know what it offers and this is actually a nice combo of features in a single pedal (kill switch and/or momentary looper). But this review is not to advertise what is currently advertised but my path and to it: I first wanted a regular kill switch pedal to make some stuttering to the signal but found that passive ones usually are not transparent as the switching mechanism filters a click to the signal, then I quickly considered this option and tested at the store to prove the feeling of the switch and had to bought it just like that, the switch is not soft –it has an acoustic clack but is not awkward to stomp it.
