Electro-Voice N/D967 Review

recordinghacks.com

The Electro-Voice N/D967 stands out for its high-gain-before-feedback capabilities, making it a reliable choice for loud stage environments. The supercardioid pattern and neodymium magnet deliver robust sound, while features like the removable pop filter and low-mid attenuation switch enhance usability. Though its low-mid warmth is less pronounced than other models in the series, it still provides clarity and authority, especially beneficial for vocalists needing high monitor levels. Priced over $400, it may be costly, but for professionals seeking quality sound without feedback issues, this mic is a valuable investment.

Best live mic ever

I have been touring for nearly 12 years and tried most mics at festivals and venues. Since I got this one I use it for all concerts. Not really for the recording studio. Warm, no feedback, easy to controll the voice.
