Clear, ringing, sweet and balanced sound - stays in tune like a Steinberger
Its one of Emerald's smaller body guitars, but its still quite loud.
- great sustain for an acoustic guitar (one-piece construction)
- great, fast double truss neck, action like an electric, depending on the strings you use.
- well balanced sound across the range
- a subtle, beautiful sound quality I did not expect from a carbon fiber guitar
- high quality pickup and preamp w. tuner, it sounds great amplified as well
- Impervious to temperature and humidity changes
- coming from the tropics and getting off a plane in a dry frost, its still in tune...
- Gotoh 510 tuners
superb finish
"Amber" color looks more like a very dark brown in most lighting conditions, because the carbon fiber weave is, of course, pitch black. It does give the occasional flash of amber, when the light hits it just right.
I couldn't find anything else to complain about and so I sound like a company shill :-/
