Solid and reliable, versatile and powerful!
I got this to replace a Gibson I’d be using for years, my first LTD guitar, it blew me away, my Gibson was trash by comparison. The feel of this guitar, the weight of it, sound of it and stability of it, all vastly outmatched my Gibson Les Paul. The Duncan pickups are a perfect blend of classic and modern sounding, perfect on stage and in the studio. The guitar is tough, being able to take some hits without going out of tune or showing the damage on the body. This and has never let me down. I primarily use it for E standard and drop D rock and metal.

The band switched from PRS to LTD guitars in 2015. LTD EC-1000 VB Duncan can be seen in this music video.
Bruce did this quick unrehearsed non-scripted video for us when he stopped by to pick up a guitar he had ordered. It is actually pretty funny, he ordered a different guitar but honestly bought this one too after seeing it on display.
In this video you can see Becky playing an ESP LTD EC-1000 Deluxe with golden pick-ups. That's probably the version of the ESP LTD EC-1000 Deluxe with Seymour Duncan pick-ups. The "normal" version has black EMG pick-ups.
Josh Key used his LTD Eclipse from the Sandwich era(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnV0hbpoOxM) all the way to the Cabin Fever Concerts(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TOpEsE8K20I).
Guitars in the LTD EC-1000 Series are designed to offer the tone, feel, looks, and quality that working professional musicians need in an instrument, along with the pricing that typical musicians can still afford. The EC-1000 VB is consistently one of the most popular guitars due to its combination of incredible looks and great performance. It offers a vintage looking body/neck/headstock binding and gold hardware, and includes premier components like LTD locking tuners, a Tonepros locking TOM bridge and tailpiece, and the aggressive punch of active EMG 81/60 pickups. It also offers set-thru construction with a mahogany body, 3 pc. mahogany neck, and 24-fret Macassar ebony fingerboard. Available in Vintage Black finish.
