Description
The ESP Snapper FR is a masterclass in craftsmanship and sound, meticulously handcrafted in Japan by the elite luthiers at ESP's Custom Shop. This electric guitar is a testament to the legacy and innovation of ESP, capturing the spirit of their early designs while enhancing every aspect for today's discerning musician. Its swamp ash body resonates with a rich, aggressive tone, complemented by a stunning burled poplar top that adds a unique visual flair.
The Snapper FR doesn't just look the part; it plays with remarkable fluidity thanks to its one-piece maple neck and fingerboard. The ESP "Thin U" profile ensures a fast, comfortable grip, while the compound-radius design provides the perfect balance for both rhythm and lead work. This guitar is engineered for performance, featuring high-quality hardware including locking Gotoh tuners and an unbleached bone nut for superior tuning stability and sustain.
At the heart of its sonic versatility are three Seymour Duncan pickups in an HSS configuration. The bridge pickup, a ’59 Custom Hybrid humbucker, offers a vintage voice with a hotter output, ideal for both soaring solos and intricate fretwork. Meanwhile, the noiseless Hot Stack Plus pickups in the middle and neck positions deliver glassy highs and a robust low end. With a five-way selector, push-pull capacitance, and a mini-toggle for alternate pickup mixes, the Snapper FR offers a vast array of tonal possibilities to explore.
