Description
The EVH 5150 Iconic Series 2-Channel 60-Watt 2x12" Guitar Combo is a sonic powerhouse designed for both gigging and recording guitarists who crave the legendary EVH tube tone. Drawing inspiration from the flagship 5150III amplifiers, this combo, co-designed by renowned amp engineer James Brown, offers a robust 60 watts of pure tube-driven sound. Armed with two 6L6 power tubes and a multi-stage hybrid preamp anchored by ECC83 tubes, it ensures you have the firepower needed to tackle any musical challenge.
This amp is equipped with two channels, each featuring an extra voicing for added versatility. The Green channel offers an overdrive button for transitioning from pristine cleans to increased gain, while the Red channel’s burn button introduces a fiery crunch perfect for blistering leads. With independent Gain and Volume controls per channel, you can easily match levels, allowing seamless transitions between tonal landscapes. The custom-designed EVH Celestion speakers are specially voiced for this amp, delivering articulate high-gain tones and tight, clear cleans.
The 5150 Iconic Series combo also includes a built-in noise gate for channel two, a footswitchable Boost function for a 10dB lift, and a smooth reverb to add depth to your sound. Its power reduction circuit provides stadium-sized tones at bedroom-friendly volumes, while a speaker-emulated output makes direct integration into any PA system a breeze.
