As seen in the video, J. Mascis is playing a Lake Placid blue Jazzmaster with a painted headstock. A similar guitar is the '62 NOS Jazzmaster, however it has no painted headstock and a mint pickguard. The only Fender made Jazzmaster in Lake Placid Blue with a painted headstock and a tortoise-shell pickguard is the Custom Shop Journeyman.
