Greatest year for the Fender Jazzmaster
It's just the PERFECT Fender Jazzmaster. The 1960 sunburst is the most beautiful Fender has ever done with that deep '2.5 tone' and wide black outer ring. The black bottom Jazzmaster pickups have incredible clarity and depth. The rythm and lead circuit provide plenty of options to have a warm, punchy or cutting sound.

Dan Auerbach is observed playing a 1960 Fender Jazzmaster in a sunburst finish during a performance captured in the 'Later... with Jools Holland' video titled "The Black Keys feat. Noel Gallagher - On The Game (Later... with Jools Holland)." This direct visual evidence from the video confirms Auerbach's use of the 1960 Fender Jazzmaster.
At 4:29 in the "Jeff Tweedy Rig Rundown" video by Premier Guitar on YouTube, a 1960 Fender Jazzmaster is clearly visible as part of Jeff Tweedy's guitar rig.
In a video by Hirameki Dojo titled "Steven Seagal's incredible guitar collection - SRV, B.B. King, Albert Collins," at the 0:58 mark, Steven Seagal claims to own a Fender Jazzmaster 1960 that was once owned and played by Jimi Hendrix (take this claim with a grain of salt as Seagal is a very well known liar) . The narrator, however, incorrectly identifies the guitar as one of Hendrix's Stratocasters.
