    Source
  • Tuning stability issues are common with the Jaguarillo tremolo; upgrading to a Mastery tremolo is recommended for improved performance and pitch return.

    Source
  • Shimming the neck is advised to increase the break angle on the bridge, which enhances tuning stability, especially when using .11 gauge strings for better tension.

Critic Reviews

Fender Pawn Shop Jaguarillo review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Fender Pawn Shop Jaguarillo impresses with its range of sounds and easy playability, combining the classic Jaguar style with Stratocaster tones and a powerful Atomic humbucker. The guitar excels in versatility, delivering everything from clean, crisp tones to edgy, overdriven sounds. The Adjusto-Matic bridge improves performance by reducing the typical Jaguar rattles. However, it falls short with shallow-slotted tuners and a vibrato arm that's awkwardly loose unless fully screwed in. Overall, this instrument is a solid choice for modern players seeking a blend of vintage aesthetics and contemporary functionality.

All around guitar

If you only can buy one guitar to record an album, this is a must have... Two classic mics and one atomic humbucker that will blow your amp. Had it in candy apple red

R

strat-like guitar with a unique twist

Sounds like a strat with an extra humbucker on the bridge. It's really versatile and the whammy bar is unique to the jaguars. I recommend it to anyone who wants a stratt-like guitar with a twist.

Best of both worlds

Literally if a Strat and a Jaguar would have a baby, this would be it. I love this thing and just can't set it down.

Upgraded

A nice guitar overall. I put DiMarzio pickups in mine. Tone Zone, Velvet, and Super Distortion. I feel Kurt would be proud.
