Description

The Fender Player II Modified Telecaster SH Electric Guitar is a modern twist on a classic icon, merging vintage charm with contemporary enhancements to cater to today's versatile musician. At its core, the alder body delivers that legendary Fender resonance and punch, while the gloss polyester finish not only looks sleek but also ensures durability. This Telecaster stands out with its unique pickup configuration: a Player II Modified humbucker in the neck offers a thick, articulate sound, while the Player II Noiseless Tele pickup in the bridge retains the classic snap and twang without the hum. Best Gig Ready Instrument for the Money

Out of the box, the neck, frets, tuners and bridge were built extremely well, better than an American Performer. Nice job squeezing in tone and volume circuitry, with a split coil option for the Humbucker. The TUSQ nut is nice, but I wish Fender didn’t cut and furnish for .09-.42 strings! Who uses those? Noiseless single coil bridge pickup is actually really nice, and plays well with any HB The neck HB pickup is middle of the pack..a little hot, a little muddy, and sounds better either in split coil mode only or in middle position. I will most likely replace it with a more articulate PAF bucker. Guitar is heavy, but really impressive tones and feel right out of the box..I highly recommend for anyone that wants to gig without bringing their American or Vintage Tele to get beaten up or stolen
