Fender Vintera ‘70s Telecaster Deluxe – MMR Magazine

mmrmagazine.com

The Fender Vintera ‘70s Telecaster Deluxe stands out with its stunning aesthetics and playability, boasting an attractive Mocha finish and a comfortable "Thin C" neck. The recreated Wide Range humbuckers deliver a punchy tone, though they can be prone to feedback at high volumes. While the guitar draws heavily from its vintage roots, it retains some familiar elements from previous models, which may not feel groundbreaking to long-time fans. Priced at $899, it offers great value compared to competitors. Overall, it's a solid choice for players looking to capture that classic Tele sound with modern enhancements.

In this Instagram reel posted by artist Em Beihold, Hozier can be seen in a photo hanging at the Winston House venue in Venice, CA, playing what appears to be a 2017 or earlier Vintera Deluxe Tele. The headstock is caught in glare and the bottom pickup is a obscured by his hand, but the wood finish and black pickguard suggest that it’s the Deluxe rather than the Custom, or from the ‘72 Classic Series. The performance was live and seemingly impromptu, so it’s possible the guitar was borrowed.
