Description

Step into the world of legendary rock tones with the Gibson Slash Les Paul Standard. This guitar is a tribute to the iconic sound and style of Guns N' Roses' own Slash. Crafted with a solid mahogany body and topped with a stunning AAA figured maple, this axe offers a blend of warmth and clarity that will take your playing to new heights. The C-shaped neck, topped with smooth rosewood, ensures a comfortable grip, making those fast solos and intricate riffs a breeze.

The hand-wired electronics, complete with Orange Drop capacitors, deliver a vintage tone that's both rich and nuanced.

Critic Reviews

Gibson Slash Les Paul Standard review | Guitar World

guitarworld.com

The Gibson Slash Les Paul Standard in Vermillion impresses with its great build, super playability, and raunchy rock tones. The attention to detail and quality craftsmanship are standout features, making it a worthy homage to Slash and Gibson’s legacy. However, the guitar's heavier weight might not be for everyone, potentially deterring those who prefer lighter instruments. Despite this, its fair pricing and inclusion of four free Slash picks make it a compelling buy for fans and collectors alike. Overall, it’s a rock-solid choice for anyone seeking a high-quality Les Paul experience.

Gibson Slash Les Paul Standard review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The Gibson Slash Les Paul Standard in Vermillion is a rock 'n' roll powerhouse with a magnificent neck carve and rich tones. It delivers the classic Les Paul feel with a Slash-approved edge, boasting Custom Burstbucker Alnico II pickups for a hotter sound. While its 4.3kg weight may be daunting, a thick strap can alleviate discomfort. The attention to detail in its finish and setup is commendable, making it a great choice even if you're not a Slash super-fan. The hefty price tag reflects its premium quality, offering good value for a high-end Les Paul.

Amazing guitar

Last year around Christmas I was gifted the standard usa model, i have had it for almost a year now and it is absolutely fantastic. the signature pickups in it are really hot and you get some awesome tones running through a marshall :D . I have been playing the newer studios and anything which are 1800 dollars like holy hell just buy it if your a slash fan or looking for a great guitar.
