Description
The Magnolia analog polyphonic FM Synthesizer by Frap Tools
The Frap Tools Magnolia is an eight-voice analog polyphonic synthesizer that combines traditional analog warmth with advanced through-zero linear FM synthesis. Designed to bridge the gap between classic polysynths and modular “complex oscillator” systems, it delivers everything from lush pads and rich basses to experimental, evolving textures. Magnolia brings West Coast-inspired synthesis techniques, including wavefolding and analog FM, into an accessible keyboard instrument while maintaining the immediacy and playability of a modern polysynth. Its expressive Fatar keyboard with polyphonic aftertouch allows for highly dynamic performances, making it equally suited to studio sound design and live playing. The spacious front panel and hands-on control layout encourage deep sound exploration without sacrificing workflow or musicality.
