Description

Discover the sonic prowess of the G&L Fullerton Deluxe Comanche, crafted for musicians who crave versatility without compromising on quality. This solid body electric guitar is more than just an instrument; it's a testament to Leo Fender's legacy, seamlessly blending classic design with modern innovation.

At the heart of the Comanche are its Magnetic Field Design Z-Coil pickups, delivering the iconic single-coil sparkle with a unique twist—no hum. Whether you're chasing shimmering highs or rich lows, these pickups provide a solid foundation for your sound, making them a dream for pedal enthusiasts. The guitar's 5-way pickup selector and mini-toggle switch open up a world of tonal possibilities, whether you want the warmth of the neck and bridge combination or the full trio of pickups singing in harmony.

G&L's PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) tone system further enhances your control, offering a high-cut and a bass roll-off to tailor your sound precisely. This is especially useful for high-gain settings, ensuring clarity and punch without muddiness. Meanwhile, the Dual-Fulcrum tremolo system lets you dive into expressive bends with remarkable tuning stability, thanks to the natural bone nut that minimizes string binding.

Crafted with a Modern Classic neck profile and a 9.5" fretboard radius, the Comanche promises a smooth and fast playability, making it a versatile choice for any musical journey.

Leo Fender's masterpiece.

I have this guitar in the see-through blonde finish. This guitar truly is the next stage in the evolution of the Stratocaster design. The trem system feels far better than a normal Strat trem. The fit and finish of G&L guitars do feel better in hand than Fender. However, the most unique thing about this guitar is its G&L MFD Z-Coil Hum-canceling Single-coil pickup set. I mean I use the Seymour Duncan Classic Stack Plus pickup set, although they sound good their tone is different from true single coils. These Z-Coil pickups on the other hand sound exactly like a true single-coil pickup, I dare to say they sound even clearer than single-coil pickups. The only things I replaced on this guitar are the tuners. The stock tuners were okay but I wasn't a fan of their low 12:1 gear ratio, so I replaced them with G&L locking tuners. The G&L locking tuners are basically G&L branded Schaller M6 locking tuners, they have a gear ratio of 18:1.
