Better for rock than traditional. I use it for worship band.
My guitar is a 3 bolt neck from the 90s, jumbo frets, Silver sparkle with a maple fretboard. The "Special" denotes the overwound pickups. This is my first tele guitar and I really enjoy the range of tones. There are no muddy places on the pallete. Playing rhythm on the neck pickup still comes through crystal clear.
