This is my Black Pearl!
This guitar was an unbelievably lucky find. Upon returning another acoustic with a flaw, I was looking for something to take its place and stumbled upon this thin super-sounding acoustic. It's only like 3" thick, and they made up for the loss of bass by increasing the width across the lower bout. Brilliant! The Ibanez neck is like all others slim and exquisite to the fingers. With the electronics inside, I can make it sound like a Taylor or a Martin or ...itself. The inlay in the fingerboard is Tree of Life and is beautifully accented by the tortoise shell binding that goes all the way around the body. The action is fast and easy. One really nice feature of this guit-box is that they gave a separate pickup output from the rear strap peg. Again Brilliant! I don't have to unplug to change out my strap-locked straps so someone taller in my band can play her. Honestly it's more like Captain Jack Sparrows compass than the Black Pearl, in that you just have to think about what you want it to sound like, and that's fairly what you hear because the guitar is finely crafted and thought out that it's a breeze to sound good, but I don't think there was a name for his compass. One note of caution, I have a Fender SR 2020 wireless that DOES NOT PLAY WELL with the amplifier in the EP10 new battery or not. I always hard plug in and have no worries.
Steve Vai's Shred-Worthy Signature Acoustic!
The Ibanez Steve Vai EP10 Euphoria acoustic-electric guitar is a shred-able axe with heart-stealing looks. A slightly thinner neck and close action make this guitar's mahogany neck comfortable to hold and a breeze to play. The EP10's 24-fret rosewood fingerboard, decked out with a beautiful gold-colored Tree of Life inlay, is a complete treat to play across. A solid Engelmann-spruce-topped body with a mahogany back and sides provides a dark resonance and alluring sustain. If you want an acoustic guitar with stunning looks, attractive tones, and ultimate playability, then the Steve Vai EP10 Euphoria is your new must-have axe.
An acoustic thats as easy to play as an electric guitar
The Ibanez Euphoria Steve Vai All Solid Wood Signature Acoustic-Electric Guitar is a high-end, extremely well-made guitar. This black beauty is best summed up by Mr. Vai himself: "The Euphoria is made to be sleek and thin with a large acoustic-electric sound. Its size gives it a bright crisp tone that allows it to sit on top of a mix." - Steve Vai
The Euphoria has a thinline body for comfort and feedback resistance. It's made of solid mahogany with a solid engelmann spruce top for a brighter, immaculate acoustic sound. Refinements include an intricate "Tree of Life" neck inlay, body binding, an original rosette design, rosewood bridge and fretboard, and Ivorex II nut and saddle for increased focus and sustain.
Artist usage
Add artist
"It's really nice because the pickups that I'm using - the Aura. It has a really controllable sound. We tried different pickups but controlling the guitar live is a challenge. So this responds better than the other stuff that I've tried. And I need a backup for that, which I use virtually every night."
