Ibanez Performer PF300 NT

In 1978 this guitar played better than the Les Paul Customs that I auditioned. With the added benefit of a tapped coil on the neck pickup, there was also a broader spectrum of tones at my disposal. I have recorded and toured with mine, and it remains my favourite out of the 4 Ibanez guitars that I own.

"Interviewer: Are you still playing the Ibanez PF-300?

Bouillet: I still have it; it was a gift from Paul Gilbert for the tour we did. I was a Les Paul guy growing up, so it was really cool. It’s chambered, neck-through, and plays amazing."
