Jackson American Series Virtuoso review | Guitar World

guitarworld.com

The Jackson American Series Virtuoso is a superbly crafted, American-made guitar designed for speed and precision. With Seymour Duncan pickups, it offers a versatile range of tones, from classic rock to heavy metal, paired with a flawless build quality. This instrument is ideal for fast-playing musicians, thanks to its comfortable neck and reliable Floyd Rose tremolo system. However, its high price and passive pickups may not appeal to all heavy metal enthusiasts who prefer active pickups. Overall, it's a premium investment for those seeking top-tier performance and craftsmanship.

In this pic, Slash is seen playing a black/white Jackson Soloist back in the early days of Guns N' Roses. It's got two buckers, a Floyd Rose, and reverse upside sharkfin inlays. It also appears to have a pretty thick body for a Soloist. No word on where the guitar is nowadays however.
