Line 6 Bass PodXT

soundonsound.com

The Line 6 Bass POD xt delivers a vast array of bass tones, from classic punchy sounds to experimental effects, making it a versatile choice for both studio and live settings. Its user-friendly interface and solid amp modeling stand out, allowing bassists to easily navigate through a plethora of effects. However, some users may find the presets overly extravagant, and the synth simulations can occasionally struggle with tracking. Additionally, the lack of Mac OS X USB audio drivers at the time of the review could be a drawback for some. Overall, it’s a powerful tool for those looking to explore a rich spectrum of bass sounds, though it may require some tweaking to achieve the desired results.

This was my giggling rig

While the modern pod go is superior in every way, this simple pedal was my gigging rig for years and always sounded great. I have fond memories and would gig with it again today is I needed a backup.
