endless possibilities
The monome 128 is full of possibilities. It does not make any sounds or do anything by itself. You must connect it to a computer or module to make it work. Then it becomes a fully functional button/light interface programmable to your liking.
There are plenty of scripts already available for you to run on it but even then the learning curve can be a bit high. Don't expect to be banging beats out within the first hour... But hang out because after you get into it is very powerful.
