Mods and upgrades

  • SE locking tuners and adjustable wraparound bridge are recommended for better tuning stability, especially for alternate tunings like DADGAD.

Critic Reviews

PRS SE Singlecut review | MusicRadar

musicradar.com

The PRS SE Singlecut impresses with its clean build, vibrant sounds, and lightweight feel, making it a superb choice for versatile guitarists on a budget. The Korean-made model doesn't directly mimic the USA Singlecut, offering a unique character with its thinner body and different maple/mahogany ratio. While it lacks the power of the USA No 7 pickups, its lighter, resonant rock tone is appealing. The neck is slimmer, offering a comfortable play, although some might miss the USA model's heft. Despite not being a perfect USA Singlecut replica, the SE Singlecut delivers excellent value and performance.

First Guitar- Quality build

The PRS SE Singlecut Korina was the first Electric guitar I purchased. Simple controls coupled with the quality build of PRS. The fretboard is inlaid with moons instead of the traditional birds associated with PRS guitars. Nice touch!

gonufrio

incorrect

SW used a PRS singlecut BUT not the SE Korina SC (I own that guitar and its' really ok); he does use a PRS singlecut core model, instead.

As far I understand, he has one with PRS #7 pickups.

Killer bang for the buck!

I got this guitar on the cheap for a back up and I can not believe the quality for the money. Such a great sounding and playing guitar. Very straight forward and bare bones, but it does what you need it to.

tony_gargano

Amazing

Love this guitar!!! Very light and plays very smooth. Had this guitar as my drop B and it rocked. Now its in standard with 10's and it chimes all day!
