Description
Embrace the perfect blend of modern innovation and vintage aesthetics with the PRS SE Silver Sky. This electric guitar, inspired by 1960s classics, is designed with today's musician in mind, providing rich tones and smooth playability at an unbeatable value.
The Silver Sky SE boasts a lightweight poplar body that ensures comfortable play for extended periods. Its bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard, adorned with PRS's signature bird inlays, bring a touch of elegance to this workhorse instrument. The 22 frets and 25.5" scale length, coupled with an 8.5" fretboard radius and the original 635JM carve profile, offer a blend of vintage feel and modern comfort.
Powering the Silver Sky SE is a trio of 635JM "S" single-coil pickups that deliver crisp highs, punchy lows, and a balanced midrange. Take control of your tone with a master volume control, two tone controls, and a five-way pickup switch. Whether you're laying down articulate funk rhythms or belting out expressive blues leads, this guitar handles it all with ease.
Through meticulous craftsmanship, PRS has equipped the Silver Sky SE with high-quality components such as a synthetic bone nut, a double-acting truss rod, and a two-point steel tremolo bridge. Its vintage-style tuners and inverted headstock pay homage to the classics of the 1960s, while the bird inlays add a touch of modern style.

It's a true Silver Sky
Most of the same things I said in my review of the core model can be applied here. It doesn't feel quite as smooth and doesn't stay in tune guitar as miraculously as its American counterpart, but it still fulfills those things very well. One of the best options for a guitar under $1,000.
