Review: PRS SE Soapbar II | Guitar Gear

guitargear.org

The PRS SE Soapbar II impresses with its stunning fit and finish, offering versatile tones from chimey cleans to crunchy tones, thanks to its P-90 pickups. While the sustain may be lacking, as expected for its price range, its playability and simple controls make it a joy for gigging guitarists. This Korean-made guitar proves to be a fantastic value and tonal chameleon, covering blues to classic rock with ease. Though it may not be ideal for thrash metal enthusiasts, its overall quality and responsiveness make it a worthwhile addition to any collection.

A Bargain

These alnico pick ups are the best. It's a shame PRS doesn't build these guitars anymore.
