This synths is great. It's sounds are very reminiscent of sega games and old computer games. That's because people actually used it as a sound card back in the day.
The sounds are very similar to the Roland D50. I compared some of them to my roommates D50, and since they use Linear Arithmetic Synthesis, they have the same characteristics.
Very easy to use, the owners manual is easy to follow. The important thing to know is how the MIDI is routed internally. Basically, channel 2 is the first channel that controls sounds on the unit, not channel 1.
