Description

Transform your guitar sound with the Rowin Dumbler, a compact yet powerful overdrive pedal designed to bring a touch of vintage warmth to your tone. This pedal is an ideal choice for musicians seeking to achieve the classic overdriven tube amp sound without the hassle of bulky equipment. The Dumbler's circuitry is inspired by the much-admired Dumble amps, known for their rich, dynamic overdrive and smooth tonal clarity. Whether you're aiming for subtle crunch or full-blown saturation, this pedal delivers a versatile range of sound options that will elevate your playing experience.

The Rowin Dumbler features three intuitive controls: Gain, Tone, and Volume, allowing precise adjustments to craft your perfect sound. The Gain knob lets you dial in the desired amount of overdrive while the Tone control shapes the frequency response for added brightness or warmth. With a rugged metal shell, this pedal is built to withstand the rigors of live performances and frequent travel. True bypass switching ensures that your guitar's natural tone remains unaffected when the pedal is disengaged, preserving the integrity of your signal chain.

Key Features:

  • Inspired by the iconic Dumble amp sound
  • Gain, Tone, and Volume controls for versatile sound shaping
  • True bypass design for pure signal integrity
  • Robust metal construction for durability
  • Compact size ideal for pedalboards

Zen Drive clone

I like it, but I'm not a dyed in the wool electric guitarist either. The voicing knob is useful if you hate how most od/dist pedal cut your bass. You can either preserve or lose the bass with this knob. Tone is useful too. I find the texture to be very velvety as opposed to dry like a OCD, or rough and vintage-y like a Red Llama (which is my fav actually) It's a very smooth and usable od. Like it a lot. I snagged one for less than $35, cant beat that.

Nice overdrive.

Not too wild. Just crunchy enough. I’ve never heard a real Dumble , but it’s a nice clean boost too. Good price.

Preferred Settings + Usage:

Gain at 1 o’clock, tone at 11 o’clock , volume at unity.

Buy this for $30 save $40k

Ok so it's so cheap it is worth buying just to find out what it does. Definitely a different kind of drive sound with a smooth fuzz type of quality. Not sure how it compares to a real Dumble or the more expensive boutique options that also try to get this tone, but enjoy having the option for things like Santana

As good as any

Dumbler is great pedal that i use for soloing. It is as good as any other pedal that is worth 200 eur or more. I bought it for 37 eur... can you believe it?

jimmarchi1

what is it? a knockoff TC Mimiq?

ziga_janezic

No no,m it is a cheap clone of dumble overdrive sound. Dubmle is legendary amp that you can get for something over 30.000 eur.

ziga_janezic

jimmarchi1

The rowin dumbler is a clone of the zen drive. It's more affordable (under $40) and comes in a mini pedal. I like mine. Read my review for more deets.
