Bullet Special Review: Again as I said before I have been playing for 17yrs,... | Squier | Electric Guitars | Reviews @ Ultimate-Guitar.Com

The Squier Bullet Special Stratocaster is a budget-friendly guitar that suits metal and classic rock styles well. Its single humbucker pickup delivers a clean sound, although some find it thin. The plywood body surprisingly doesn't negatively impact the tone, making it durable and lightweight for live performances. However, the guitar lacks tonal variety due to the absence of a tone knob, and the tuners are subpar, requiring potential upgrades. While the bright orange finish and vintage V-neck are highlights, the instrument's simplicity may not appeal to everyone, especially gear enthusiasts. Overall, it's a solid choice for beginners or those seeking a decent backup guitar, but it may require modifications to reach its full potential.

Awesome guitar

This guitar is really cool in my opinion. It has a little flaw with the first string getting stuck under the fretboard but, I honestly don’t really care because the guitar sounds too nice. I totally recommend especially if you are a beginner.

My favorite in my small collection

I got this at a guitar show for about $80. Sounds great as is but I replaced the neck with a Fender with a maple fretboard and it sounds amazing. Would highly recommend if you want a good humbucker guitar at a reasonable price.
