It's a Strat
Comparable to Mex made fenders. Used to own a mex telecaster and it played a little better but this one still plays really nicely. No awful frets slicing you or anything. Sound-wise I upgraded the pickups and it sounds just as good as any fender. The hotrail I put in the bridge sounds better than a $2k Les Paul I used to have if that tells you anything. Solid guitar for a nice price.

Great starting guitar for the money.
I have this guitar in a vintage blonde color and indian laurel fretboard. The neck feels a bit chunky for me but it still plays great. The Duncan designed pickups are fine too although I feel that the bridge is a bit too thin-sounding. Overall, this guitar is great especially for those who are just starting out on guitar.

Steve Rothery White Ibanez
Hi everyone - I'm a huge Steve Rothery / Marilion fan. I've just found this site showing some of his guitars. Does anyone know what exact white Ibanez model he used in the Top Of The pops video of 'Cover My Eyes' It's on You Tube? Thanks - Rich
WOW!
I've had one of these since it came out in 2012 and I love it, plays like butter sound exactly how you'd want a strat to sound, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

In this video of Taylor Swift performing the song "Mine" live at X Factor 4 in Italy, she is playing a Squier Vintage Modified Stratocaster '70s Electric Guitar. The body shape, pickups, color, neck, and headstock are consistent with this model. The primary difference between the stock version of the Squier guitar and the one Swift is playing is Swift's appears to be missing the whammy bar.
Cole can be seen playing what appears to be a squier vintage modified 70s stratocaster, finished in black with a maple fretboard.
Steve Rothery is seen using a Squier Vintage Modified 70's Stratocaster in this picture. It appears to be modified with what looks like a Kahler tremolo.
