GREAT GREAT GUITAR, IT MAKES FENDER A RUN FOR THE MONEY

I just recently buy this guitar used for around $100 and I thought it might not be as nice as the fender counterpart, the pickups are the wide range pickups designed by Fender, they are not the actual wide range Fender pickup made by Seth Lover, but they give a warm, smooth sound for a flat top, maple fingerboard guitar. If you buy it cheap is a great guitar for learning and a bargain if you are an amateur player, home player or even a garage rocker, mixed with the right amp it could give you great bright tones and some overdriven ones too, if you want to be serious about this guitar I would suggest a pickup change, if you wanna keep it real, the authentic Fender Wide Range pickups if you find them, but if you wanna make it for more hard rock, punk metal-ish, you could use a Seymour Duncan SH-4 like Deryck Whibley's one or another high output (hot) pick ups like the Chris Shiflett Tele, you get the idea. The neck is pretty decent, it really feels smooth to play, a little hard for some types of song but in general a great feel. Overall is a great versatile guitar for all around playing and if you are a little bit more serious gigmaker a couple of upgrades wouldn't harm

Excellent

This was my first ever guitar and in my opinion the neck one of the nicest necks I've ever played with, easy to slide and i've never had a problem with them, my only problem with the guitar is it doesn't support 52 strings, it wont fit in the nut.

Best Squier guitar.

I got this for my 14th birthday, and it sounds amazing. This has to be the best Squier guitar, it's a good bang for your buck.

Great guitar for beginner to intermediate players - can't beat it for the money

High quality pickups, feels nice to play, has the 70s strat headstock which looks really nice.

jakegilmayer

Love this guitar. Decent weight, like the 70's start neck.

The stock pickups sound awesome, however I put a Seymour Duncan JB SH-4 in mine.
