It's ok...
I have one of these. I was looking for a short scale bass to hold me over until I could figure which one I actually wanted. This one was cheap enough so I bought it. Aside from replacing all of the hardware and electronics (including the pickups) I play it the way it came. My biggest issue is that the neck is not stable. There's a twist in the neck that makes it impossible to set the intonation correctly across the entire fretboard. The best I can do with it is either set the E and A correctly or the D and G. I have to reset the intonation ever 3 to 6 months or else the guitar becomes unplayable.

Good
I use it for recording only, fits my needs. If I were a proper bass player I'd probably want something more sturdy maybe. I don't know, I'm not a real bass guitarist :)
