Mine is actually black AND has a humbucking(by FENDER) bridge pickup.
Overall it has a more clearer and smoother tone than a standard Strat. The playability is great, the neck has a vintage satin finish which lets you move faster up and down the fretboard faster. The vibrato works great too. Personnaly, i like to use the bridge/mid PU for 'clean' and the bridge PU for distortion :)
