And I used something different on this record. Instead of mic-ing up the cabinets, I used a cabinet emulator for the microphone. So John Suhr, Suhr Custom, has a thing, it's called ACE – Analog Cabinet Emulator. I had mic-ed up my cabinets as I normally do with a Royer [R-]121 and a 57 Shure and got some sounds that I liked.
