Elvis Costello - Live on The Session 1987 on YouTube. 7.11.1987
Elvis dons the workmanlike entry-level Washburn D10CE Dreadnaught Cutaway Electric for this performance. This guitar is easy to identify the series as the dreadnaught electric cutaway series of this era with the W cut headstock. The identifier as the D10CE is that it is the only one in the series that has dot fret markers only on the fretboard. The D12 has a W at the 12th fret and the 17 has fancier fret markers altogether.
The preamps in this series have evolved over the years but the specs of the guitar have not. This was the '80s iteration that featured Volume and Tone controls in the upper bout.
