Better for Vintage PA
This is a lil' amp I found in my Dad's attic that was waiting patiently to be played. I'll be honest, the tubes need fixing, the veneer needs replacing and the speaker is clogged with dust. But. with a little work, it could be a nice sounding British amp. But for now, it will have to work as a PA speaker.

just try a retube and then listen for 'sizzling bacon' noises, if you have that intermittent sizzling then you need to replace the electrolytic filter caps, which in a small combo is not a biggie, try to leave everything else intact.

thanks for the info, I know relatively little about tube amps to be honest but i'm hoping to repair it by the end of the year.

kinda like the current production vox ac4hw sporting a small semi closed 2" speaker cabinet, though not much like a vintage ac4 with an 8" and ef86 pentode for the preamp.... your preamp looks like a fender blackface champ preamp with the tonestack sandwiched between to hi mu triode
