Yamaha FG 470s Great Guitar

I bought this guitar new in 1988 to be my go-to songwriting guitar. I had tried other acoustics by other more expensive brands and models and was drawn back to this Yamaha FG 470s. It had the correct feel and tone I was looking after. It didn't hurt that it's a beautiful guitar as well and very well built. At the time, I also purchased the Yamaha Hard Shell case, as I knew I would be doing extensive traveling with this guitar. This guitar has served me well over the past 30+ years and other than one truss rod adjustment and string changes, it has needed nothing. It still plays excellent and sounds even better every year. It's huge, bright and loud presence really puts my Martin DM to shame......yes, truthfully. I've had two ex-wives that wanted to take this guitar away from me and unlike them, it's still faithfully with me!
