Description

Elevate your studio recordings with the Zähl Audio EQ1, a powerhouse in API 500 format designed for musicians and sound engineers who demand precision and versatility. This parametric 4-band stereo EQ offers an unparalleled depth of control, ensuring your sound is crafted to perfection. With its amplification range switchable between +/- 5 dB and +/- 15 dB, the EQ1 provides the flexibility you need to shape your audio with finesse.

The treble band allows frequency adjustments from 2 kHz to 20 kHz with switchable Shelf/Bell characteristics, offering clarity and definition to your high-end. Dive into the fully parametric mid-range, where you can tweak frequencies from 600 Hz to 6 kHz and shift the frequency range to 1.8 kHz - 18 kHz or 200 Hz - 2 kHz, all the way down to 40 Hz - 400 Hz. The depths band extends from 30 Hz to 300 Hz, also with switchable Shelf/Bell characteristics, providing robust low-end sculpting.

For added control, the high pass filter is adjustable from 25 Hz to 250 Hz, helping you eliminate unnecessary low frequencies without compromising the integrity of your mix. Obviously I’m singing all the time on my music, so I bought a really good mic. My mic goes into this Michael Zähl EQ. Michael Zähl used to work with Conny Plank and Can. From what I’ve heard so far, this EQ is really fantastic, but I still have to get it all sorted.
