John Mayer can be clearly seen playing a Fender Classic Player Black Dove Telecaster Deluxe. This is from a performance on January 2nd, 2016. John was a guest at Sammy Hagar's show.

The dual P90s can be seen, which are Fender's Black Dove pickups.

Fender Telecaster Deluxe (Duplicate) as his backup guitar during the "21st Century Breakdown" era. This guitar was played by Armstrong during performances of "Longview" and "Basket Case" at Pinkpop in 2010. The guitar's pickups were modified with a Seymour Duncan SH-4 and a P90. This Telecaster Deluxe is part of a pattern, as similar models were also used by Armstrong in the periods spanning 2000-2001 and 2012-2013.

Throughout this promotional video posted to Fender’s YouTube channel, The Edge appears with his Telecaster Deluxe, a guitar design he claims “changed the course of musical history”. Though not as synonymous with The Edge as the Stratocaster, the telecaster deluxe has made several appearances with the guitarist since the 1980s, most notably in the studio.
