Critic Reviews

4MS Listen Four, Listen Four Quarters, Listen IO & Listen Up

soundonsound.com

The 4ms Listen Four series cleverly fills the utility gap in Eurorack setups with its compact, functional design and stereo mixing capabilities. Each module, including the Listen Four and its Quarters variant, offers essential features while maintaining a minimal footprint. The ability to link multiple units for expanded functionality is a standout. However, the absence of CV control and EQ may leave some users wanting more versatility. Additionally, while its primitive LED metering serves its purpose, it lacks sophistication. Overall, the Listen Four family is a solid choice for anyone looking to streamline their mixing needs, though it may not satisfy all users seeking comprehensive audio manipulation features.

Does what is says on the tin

Nothing groundbreaking here, just a solid utility. It does sound very clean I’ll give it that. Cleaner than the Make Noise Rosie.
