Good but not amazing
At £600, this is Apple's cheapest Mac, but for the amount of money I was still expecting good things. I run both Logic Pro X (live) and Pro Tools (Studio) among other programs (MainStage, Ableton among others) but when working on large programs they often crash. Would not recommend.

Fast and easy
I've never personally been a fan of Windows computers. Macs are just so simple and easy to use. The Macbook air with the i7 processor works like a charm

Perfect size ...
... but there could be more power inside and the laptop will get hot really fast if you're running e.g. Ableton, Maschine and some VST's - My recommendation: Buy a Macbook Pro Retina 13" :)
GREAT laptop
I use this laptop for all my producing. I do have an application on it so I can run windows on it and it still copes very well. Battery hold is AMAZING and you can see the screen even in bright sunlight.

I use garageband, constantly get pop-ups that I'm low on storage when system preferences says otherwise.
