Critic Reviews

Barefoot MM45

soundonsound.com

Barefoot Sound's MM45 MicroMain45 active monitors pack a punch with wide bandwidth and revealing detail, maintaining the brand's reputation for precision. While they offer impressive volume reserves and a three-way speaker design that enhances clarity, the hefty price tag and basic cabinet finish may deter some buyers. Still, their meticulous design ensures that you get what you pay for, making them a top choice for those seeking high-end nearfield monitors.

Holy god

These are just unreal. The low end extension is clear and articulate (tho maybe not quite as low as the dual opposing driver version), the mids are extremely clear, and a big sweet spot for the high end.

Honestly, these are STAGGERINGLY accurate. Everything transfers perfectly.

Honestly I could hit you with numbers but really? If you're honestly in the market and ready to spend this kinda dough on monitoring- do yourself a favor and check out Barefoot.

The added bonus of the DSP is usually just used to keep my ears fresh/avoid fatigue tho both are totally reliable tho not a selling point for me personally. Just a awesome perk I can't imagine living without now.
