Cole Clark Hollow Baby P-90 Electric Guitar Review - Premier Guitar

premierguitar.com

The Cole Clark Hollow Baby P-90 is a distinctive semi-hollow electric that merges elements from Fender, Gibson, and Bigsby into a lightweight, versatile guitar. Its unique construction, using Australian timbers, delivers resonant and warm tones with impressive sustain. Equipped with quiet Kinman P-90 pickups, it caters well to a range of styles except for high-gain settings. However, the satin finish might feel cheap, and the aesthetics of pickup covers could be improved. Overall, it’s a solid choice for those seeking a stylish, multi-faceted instrument that excels in diverse musical contexts.

Best sounding, most comfortable, and lightest strat style guitar there is.

Although Cole Clark made the business decision to focus solely on acoustic guitars, they set an amazingly high standard for quality control. I've blind purchased (bought without actually playing) over 10 of the company's guitars simply because I know exactly what I am going to get; an extremely high quality guitar. If you have an opportunity to play or buy a Cole Clark Hollow Baby, do it, because they no longer make them!

As you can see on this picture Stone played a Hollow Baby live in 2010 while a concert with his sister. There are more pictures from that concert here: http://www.jeremylimphotography.com/concert-photos/angus-and-julia-stone-photos-venue-vancouver/. Angus Stone can be seen playing in the back. His sister uses to play the same guitar live – so it maybe is hers.

In this video, Hannah Joy can be seen using a Cole Clark Hollow Baby SSS. She plays left handed but, unusually, plays a right handed model upside down and leaves the guitar strung as right handed.
